For a capsuleer, it is quite a shame to fly from system to system in New Eden and see celestials swarming with industrialists. So many of them, together, huddled, sucking off the rocks floating in space. What a shame, being forced to work instead of enjoy pursuits of pleasure and fun.

I think most would agree that the fact these poor souls have to work so hard creates a very negative view of New Eden. What we need to do is to determine a more useful existence for the average industrialist.

My proposal is to not stop with those actively sucking roids from space but to all industrial types; the planetary interactors who never leave stations, the manufacturers who let others get dirty and bring their raw materials to them, and finally the worst the lot, the “researchers”.

After a month of being new industrialist capsuleers we need to provide for them so they are not inclined to loiter in the asteroid belts and blot d-scanners with their massive ships. We need to rescue them from their disease.

Here is how it breaks down, you take a set number of industrialists, say 50,000. 5,000 of the original lot say they contribute to New Eden and without them things would come to a halt, yet only 500 of that lot actually do the work. Another 4,000 from this list is removed because they will get themselves blown up. What do we do with the remainder? They are the least productive and the most vocal.

We know that a young industrialist does no good at all and hardly have the skills to provide for anything.

This is my proposal.

I have it on good authority by an Amarrian friend of mind that an industrialist that is allowed to grow for a year is a very juicy lump of space debris. Often, their holds are full and fatty, ready for consuming.

I would then like to offer my proposal to Jita Speakers Corner, for the CSM to help pass into law; 20,000 industrialists shall actually be reserved for doing the work in New Eden.  Another 20,000 shall be retained and allowed to ‘get fat’.

The key is a full cargo hold.

Since they are losing to pirates and griefers, this should be of no consequence to the industrialists.

The loots will be available all year-round but most plentiful in the fall return to school and the start of summer vacation, before the family might take its holiday.

Those who seek to help rear the young industrialists shall do so with compensation, a cost of 2,000,000 isk per month spent nursing the young.

Should you want to be more frugal and not completely devour the young industrialist, asking them to eject from their ship so it can be later sold, is a very viable solution.

The advantages to all this are simple, a. less crowded asteroid belts, b. a new market is created, c. increased loot averages, d. less noobs to bother everyone in local, e. increased “quality” piracy, and f. it will create a more caring and productive industrialist class.

This proposal, if it works, could be applied to many other facets of New Eden, such ast he swarms of mission runners seen in some systems.

I am not so arrogant to assume that another could not come up with a better idea, I say whether one does have then we all shall listen. It is our duty!

I stand to gain nothing from this, as I have no industrialists under my employ, yet we all will gain in better quality cargo containers.

I think the bad people of EVE just won the game.

There isn’t much to the above quiz but it is rather funny. Do not expect it to mean anything but I do have to say I snorted when I was called a CCP Fanboy. Some would say that, even if I haven’t praised them. Other than the fact they made a game  love. The “Fanboy” part is what really gives me a chuckle.

When I first heard about Death Race by Rixx @ Eveaganda I was extremely excited. Admittedly I have wanted to try the EVE racing circuit and this was a way to do it as an outlaw. We Bastards had a small group setup to enter and all was set. Then RL got in the way for me, I have to go on a business trip during the race. Because of a meeting Monday morning I have to hop on a plane early Sunday morning. I’m crushed.

Rixx, I hope it goes well and if so I hope you do another so I can participate.

As the topic says, I’m back!  The blog here is going to go through some changes but nothing major.  One big change to state is I’m not a Tusker anymore, I had to quit them as I just didn’t have time to play.  Now that I do have time, I felt I wanted to go back to what felt like home, The Bastards.

Venom and Laboheme Orchid (The Sisters) are Bastards now and it feels good!

So, what’s Venom going to do?

She pirates and she and her Sister LaBoheme Orchid are very proud to have become part of the Tusker family.

I’m excited about this opportunity for several reasons, one of which is I have admired the Tuskers as I have the Hellcats, Python, and the Bastards.  In my mind, these are the more true pirate corps of EVE, players of like mind and style.  Second, I’m looking forward to learning a new way to play the game, what I’ve learned so far (that I didn’t realize before) is that each corp in EVE has their own bend on things from tactics to ship fits.  The tactics part I knew, we as pilots have to learn the patterns of our enemy, yet I didn’t fully realize each corp has their own fits for ships.  I don’t think it appropriate to go into detail and give up some secrets but there is a difference between a standard Tusker and Bastard or Hellcat style of ship fits.

One tactic I can give up, mostly because everyone knows this of Mynx, I learned most of what I know from Mynxee and the Bastards but one tactic has been hard to break or change; close up alpha.  No matter what’s to be attacked or what your in, I learned from Mynx to get up close and beat the heck out of the opponent.  What I’m learning now is, there is a whole other world of fighting at range and how to fit for it.  So, this is good.

Settling in has been rough, I was accepted at the start of a week where I was away from home on a business trip.  When I could I moved from Vit to Hevrice, I still have ships scattered through the area, which might not be a bad thing.  So, now I’m home and still trying to sort ships and gear.  Spending time at night looking through Tusker kills and fits, to more learn how my new brother’s like to fly.

As well, I’ve been spending some time playing with EVEHq, the alternative to EFT and EVEMon.  In general I like it a lot and I am enjoying getting to know the program, only one negative point so far and that is I can’t seem to find a DPS graph as you find in EFT.  Yet all the other perks of the program make up for that one negative.  So far, so good.

Any rate, that’s a quick update on where Venom and Laboheme have gone, a new direction and for sure more fun to come.

If you would please refer to the above graphic from Battle Clinic, a chart showing the exact moments when becoming a Mom killed Venom Orchid.  I have been feeling good as of late, I have been logging in and playing the game; actually, I have been logging in and assisting Mynx in our Universe domination plan.  Pew Pew has not been on the HUD, sadly I can show you where moments in my last 6 months have collided with my Battle Clinic stats.  Stats were climbing, at a good clip, then I got word about my new soon to be adopted son.  I rushed away to meet him, and you can see how things start to round off on the graph, the start of my downward spiral.  Followed by: my son starts to have Pew Pew with Pew Pew of his own, gas.  Then in September he learned that his room was very lonely and if he cried enough, I’d come get him.  Somewhere in October I had a strong showing and my blip on the chart went up, only to be nerfed by teething.

All in all I’m happy to say, being a Mommy is the best thing I ever did and I am now feeling more regular about playing.  I hope to get back into blogging and improving my stories of Venom.

My eyes are crossed but I finally did it, I got Laboheme Orchid to -1.98 in sec status.  She is now ready to take part in the ebil Hellcat plans. muahahahahahahah

I’d love to tell you more about these plans but I can’t, I’d have to kill you first.

*Lab is my first toon, and the toon I did all my mish running with.  Someone started me out by training learning then training my armor tank to be very very strong.  All resists and such skills for armor tanking are at at least lvl 4, goal is to bring them all to lvl 5 and make my armor tank the best it can be.

The onboard coms crackled and screamed but nothing sounding like a human voice could be heard.  Venom set her communications system on long range and hoped for the best:

That’s right, after a little break due to going planetside to get my new son and bond with him (aka learn how to change a diaper in 10 seconds or less), Venom is back. Laboheme Orchid is back as well, have you met her, she’s Venom’s sister.  You will learn about her in Act’s II and III of the Venom story.  Venom has been back for a little while, getting out into space here and there, yet piracy has taken a bit of a backseat.  Soon that will all change.

Take a look at Mynx’s last post on what we are doing, it’s truly an exciting time for us Hellcats.  A new path and a new goal that is more lofty than any we have ever undertaken.

In respect to that, Venom Orchid will always be a -10 pirate in low sec and her sister Laboheme will be the hi sec big ship pirate that we will need for our new plans.

Yet at them moment, Laboheme is in null sec ratting up her status, which is a completely mind numbing experience.  From -9.5 to now at -4.25, the brain cells destroyed are uncountable.  This will never occur again, mark my words.

On that note, back to listening to the sleep inducing rat chatter on the coms.
